Case Study - Neil Jordan at Rochford District Council

As part of the Live Well initiative supported by Provide, Rochford District Council hosted Mindfulnessand Positive Thinking sessions for staff facilitated by Neil Jordan from www.positiveneil.com

Like many organisations staff at the Council were reporting high stress levels due to lack of resources and competing demands. Anxiety and stress do not go away; there is no time limit. Left untreated they affect our sleep our relationships and our ability to perform. This is happening. It is the reality.

The Live Well team at Rochford chose to run a pilot course and the results have been really exciting.

Course Overview

  • How to meditate
  • How we think
  • The one day plan
  • Primary motivators
  • Understanding others
  • Review and next steps

Neil is excellent. He was calming, inspiring and easy to understand. Very supportive. Shame it had to end.".
